Refinishing the Mirror

A few weeks ago-yes I said weeks- I redid an old ugly mirror I had that the old homeowners of our house left when we bought it.

Here it is:

I started by taking old paper that was covering the back and then took out the mirror. Boy was this hard! It was tightly put in with at least 20 different screws that I took out with... and even I think this is crazy.. My own hands! Where i got that idea, you may ask?? I have no idea!

I then sanded it and then started painting it white. I ended up doing two coats and let it dry for about 3 hours in between. I did not use the right paint but I did use what I had and i think it came out very well. Below will be a picture of it being sanded and painted.

The last picture was the finished project against a door in my bedroom. I hope you liked it!

So, I am the kind of girl who gets hooked on things very fast. Well, guess what I got hooked on know??? If you guessed blogging, your right! I have to say I got inspired by jennygarland.com. Go check her website out! It's really cool! I'm hoping to do crafts, organizational skills, and maybe a little beauty. I get inspired off of a lot of other peoples designs so I will be getting a lot of my ideas from other people but changing them up to make them mine.
